I’ve been pulling pounds of ivory and black stringer for all those glass tiger beads I’ve been working on… and when I have a clump of such gorgeous contrast on the end of my pull rods, I can’t stand to waste it! So I make little hearts. I was struck by how elegant and plain they look and… well, I just could live with that! So I added frit – but ONLY to one side of the bead! So these glass beads have a split personality! One side is understated black and pale ivory, the other will have an explosion of color! Wear whichever side suits your mood!
Duo Split Personality Heart #2 is blue, green, rust and lavender on the reverse and measures 17 mm wide x 30 mm tall including glass bail. $15.00

I’ve been making tons of tiger beads lately and this is by far my favorite! XL tiger bead on an antique key. Key is about 3.2″ long (59.8mm) and the bead measures 10 mm x 14.5mm. $37.50. If you do not want the silk ribbon, deduct $4.00
A dreamy mist of blues, gray and white in a long heart focal bead. Made entirely off mandrel, hot glass hanging in mid air, this bead is perfect for the Denim and Diamonds type girl. Just add it to a chain and hit the dance floor.
Measures: 2″ from the top of the bail to the tip. .84″ wide at the shoulders. This hole is generous and fits our leather necklaces, friction clasp, stainless steel and the silicone as well.
This swirling blue white and creamy glass heart pendant is a mysterious beauty! The blue is infused with a sparkly aventuring and dances in the light ! The photos do NOT do this glass bead justice! Fits the following necklace chains, sold in my findings section: Stainless steel, Friction Clasp,
Black Silicone.
Measures 2.3″ from the top of the bail to the tip x 1.12″ at the widest point. $24.00
This was my entry in last month’s Fire Divas May Flowers Bead Challenge. The lampwork glass beads are some of my favorites ever! I worked really hard on this piece…figuring out how to separate the beads… what should go where and what would make the beads hang right. Each of the LARGE florals took around 40 minutes EACH in the flame, layering color with clear and then shaping. It was a really time consuming set and I hope she finds a good and loving home.
These will fit on a Pandora necklace if you prefer something more upscale than the hand dyed ribbon I have them strung on. $119.00
This pendant is my entry into the March Art Bead Scene contest, inspired by the Van Gogh painting of the same name.
ABOUT THE BEADS: The art glass beads were handmade by me, Holly Dare of Holly’s Folly ~ Glass. The focal is made of layers of opaque and transparent teal glass for depth. The flowers are white with a bit of pink. I didn’t want the pink to overpower the piece.
The Bellflower dangle is an opaque pink on stainless steel wire.
ABOUT THE PENDANT: The upper part is a wired wonder! The flower petal shaped bail, the roller coaster swirl and the large hammered flower are all ONE piece of sterling wire! I carried out the flower motif with a smaller hammer wire flower dangling from the large one. The bellflower dangle completes the piece. $49.00
January’s inspiration painting for the Art Bead Scene Contest was cold, wintry scene called The Magpie by Claude Monet. I knew right away I would attempt one of those fantastic tree beads… but I wanted a cold, translucent feeling.
I made the glass bead and etched it. I found some of the new colored beading wires in shades of blue and some delicate blue opals. I had always wanted to try a design that allowed some of the beads to float and move around on the beading wire. I used crimps and crimp covers to act as “stops” for the opals. A Bali silver clasp and 10mm sterling balls balance out the design.
I wire wrapped the focal art bead in 18 gauge sterling with a rosette bottom. $95.00
I love this reactive frit over light ivory. It’s mesmerizing. I could stare at it all day……………………………………………… ……………………….. ……………….. …. . ………………………………………………………….. ……………………….. ……………. .. ……………………….OH! Sorry!
She would look great on either a bracelet or a necklace. 15mm hole to hole (sideways) and 22mm top to bottom, 1/8″ mandrel, hole is .194″ $12.00
