OMG! I thought I sold this bead at some show AGES ago. But I was cleaning out some travel boxes in my office and there she was … all by her lonesome! This bead is really striking in person…lighter on one side… darker on the other. Made to suit your moods! The darker side has a slight metallic look. Little pink flower on the upper right of each side.

Measures: 27.4 mm hole to hole (vertical) x 25 mm at the shoulders. 1/16th hole (only mentioned because I often use a bigger mandrel.) If you don’t wire wrap… I do! I can turn this into a pendant for $12.00 (sterling and Swarovskis). Just ask! 1 Bead – $19.99

Pink on the Inside | Abstract Heart Glass Bead

The inside of this abstract heart shaped bead is created by multiple layers of glass… I was going for orangy pink… but I didn’t like the shape. As often happens with my beads…sometimes they just “want” to be hearts! I started messing with the shape and some of the silvered glass worked its way to the surface. In the end, I think it’s much more spectacular than I envisioned. Swirls of metallic glass with glorious pink peeking through… She’s a beauty!

Summer | Giant Seashell Glass Bead Focal

Another breathtaking extra large glass focal bead with stunning mother of pearl effects. Rich in high silver glass, this bead is made of four layers of glass all swirling together to create magic! There’s also quite a bit of blue stone aventurine sparkling in there and all is captured under a heavy layer of crystal clear before being lovingly hand shaped. This bead took over 90 minutes in the flame! The photos above are in full sunlight. The bottom photo is in the shade.

Summer measured 40.6 mm at her shoulders (1.6″) and is 42 mm tall hole to hole. She would make a stunning focal for a beach themed necklace! 54.99

This is one of those beads that’s been kicking around my desk for ages because… I hate every photo I see of it! No picture seems to do it justice…so I’ll just have to hope words can do it! Shibori is form of Japanese dying – Kind of like our tye – dye but usually quite elegant. this glass bead reminds me of shibori. It is colorful and elegant. It is a long barrel focal made from a temperamental pink glass. If you know you’re going to make something mad, you might as well try to have a little fun with it, right? So, I deliberately used glasses that I thought would make that base glass react and boy did she! tones from pink, mauve, lavender to coral and olive appeared! There is a black and gold ribbon running around the bead as well. This beauty just shimmers in the light! It won’t disappoint! $32.00
